Eat the Son and live forever

Jesus is the bread of life – but what might deter us from coming to join the feast? In John 6:40–59, Jesus addresses the scepticism of the religious authorities. Whatever they might have thought, Jesus really is the bread come down from heaven, and he really does give us bread to eat – bread that will feed us for ever.
