The First Keeper of the Sycamore Lamp

Luna stands at the base of the sycamore tree, the lamp returned to the roots, the grave of Elena sealed. The woman in white appears, holding a lamp already lit, and speaks of a cycle older than Esther's promise. Luna follows her through the mist to a church crypt where a row of identical lamps line the walls. She learns the girl in the grave was only one of many, and the woman herself is the first keeper—the one who lit the first lamp centuries ago. Luna faces a choice: help protect the other lamps or walk away knowing the cycle will repeat elsewhere. The woman's final words echo as the lamp in Luna's hand begins to flicker with a child's whisper, forcing her to decide before the light goes out.
