Trying to Conceive? Meet Our Lady of La Leche

Why hopeful mothers turn to Our Lady of La Leche in seasons of waiting. It began two thousand years ago in a quiet cave in Bethlehem, where the Holy Family took shelter from Herod’s soldiers. As Mary nursed the Infant Jesus, a few drops of her milk fell and turned the dark stones chalky white. That place, known as the Milk Grotto, has drawn mothers and hopeful couples for centuries, sparking a devotion that eventually reached Spain.
