A CineClub Halloween 2: Enter the Blumhouse

‘A CineClub Halloween makes its bloody return this spooky season with our first in a four-part series. This week, the team of Billy, Matthew, Dion and Rhys delve into Blumhouse, the studio arguably at the forefront of modern horror.

While a lot of the discussion centres on this year’s surprising smash hit Obsession (2026), as well as the ramifications that will come along with it for Blumhouse, the group also gives some time in the spotlight to Blumhouse’s other horror works. From Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023), to The Black Phone (2021) to Creep (2014) and most everything in-between, it's the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season!

Make sure to check back next week for the next part of A CineClub Halloween!

Our presenters this week include Billy, Rhys, Dion and Matthew. The episode was engineered and edited by Emily Main.'
