Co-Hosts Greg Landsman (OH-01) and Marc Veasey (TX-33) were back in Washington this week, joined by Congressman Don Beyer (VA-08), to talk through the latest news on Trump’s Trade War with Canada and developments in Artificial Intelligence.

Beyer, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and Chair of the New Dem Trade Task Force, shares how this latest round of tariffs on Canadian imports are raising prices on American consumers and why this Administration’s approach to trade policy is dangerous and expensive.

Rep. Beyer is also one of the leading experts in Congress on AI, after recently returning to school to get his Master’s in machine learning. The members discuss the many ways in which AI has impacted Americans’ daily lives, and what Congress needs to do to prevent this new technology from getting out of control while still promoting American innovation.

Additionally, Rep. Beyer shares stories from another one of his major endeavors: completing the entire Appalachian Trail.
