687. The Real Reason Why Manifesting Keeps You Stuck w/ Frank Elaridi

Is manifestation just a scam?

Frank Elaridi is a four-time Emmy-winning journalist turned energy healer whose YouTube work on spirituality has pulled 40M+ views. This is the clearest window I've had into what happens after peak experiences stop mattering.

A client came to him convinced she was channeling angels because her vision was fluttering. Frank told her: “Your retina is detaching; see a doctor now”. She'd been putting it off because YouTubers said the symptom was spiritual. That's how dangerous wellness content gets when spiritual entertainment is sold as truth.

We get into spiritual entertainment vs. actual spirituality, the trap of swapping one identity for a "healthier" one, and why his guru's lineage refuses ashrams or money. Frank also talks about walking away from plant medicine, moving alone to Joshua Tree, ending relationships, and a mantra kept secret for 5,000 years.

If you've been collecting practices, teachers, and peak experiences, this one's for you.
