<p>Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Elena<br />Elena is a mama of one from the UK.<br />She is an entrepreneur and a founder of two companies, and someone who changed her mind about home birth at 37 weeks pregnant.</p><p><br /></p><p>She’d spent most of her pregnancy assuming she’d be in a birth centre. Then something changed which she shares about in this episode and she decided to birth at home.<br />By the time labour started, she was at home, in a pool, comb in hand, positive affirmations stuck to the wall in front of her.<br />When her waters broke it was filled with meconium, the pressure to transfer was real. The medical system pulls hard in those moments. Elena held her ground anyway - not because she was reckless, but because she had done the work, she trusted her body, and she believed her baby was strong.
