WORKHORSE: Cam Cook's Production is GREAT, But Amari Latimer Needs MORE Carries

The West Virginia Mountaineers’ explosive offense turns heads as Cam Cook breaks out as one of college football’s leading rushers. The question: Is Cook getting too many carries, and is talented freshman Amari Latimer being underutilized? Brian Smith and Mountaineer Paul debate the best backfield workload, discuss quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr.’s dual-threat impact, and spotlight the balance between transfer portal wins and high school recruiting.

Freshman stars Kevin Brown, Matt Sieg, and Latimer receive high marks for their early contributions, but is West Virginia’s defense deep enough to compete in the Big 12? The hosts analyze upcoming clashes against Arizona, TCU, and Texas Tech, breaking down the Mountaineers’ bowl hopes and the ongoing challenge of upgrading the front seven. With Rich Rodriguez at the helm, is patience the key, or are fans right to demand more?
