Episode 204: Are you leaving Title II money on the table every year?

Have you ever been in a meeting and heard one of these phrases?

“We need to circle back on that.”

“Let’s put a pin in it.

“We need to think outside the box.”

“We need to find the low-hanging fruit.”

“Let’s make sure everybody is on the same page.”

“We need to touch base.”

“We don't want to leave any money on the table.”

That last one actually matters a lot. There is a good chance that you might be leaving some money on the table. Money that may already be available to help pay for professional development for you and your teachers.

You might be too busy to access it. You might think that the process is too complicated. You might have had a bad experience at some point in the past when you were trying to use it. That’s OK, I am going to help you.
