The Crisis in the Family is the Crisis in the Church

Almost every week we hear of another scandal of a pastor or Christian leader's moral failure.

When a pastor fails morally, the damage does not remain behind the pulpit. It damages Christian families—especially children—from questioning the faith to walking away from the faith. But the crisis is bigger than fallen pastors. Jesus calls every Christian to “deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Not only are pastors to deny themselves for the good of Christ’s church, and the families in the congregation must deny themselves for the spiritual health of the church. When pastors refuse that calling, families suffer. When families refuse it, churches suffer.

In this episode of The Renton Rathbun Show, we examine pastoral moral failure, the relationship between the family and the church, and why abandoning the church is not the answer.

#ChristianParenting #ChurchLeadership #BiblicalWorldview #church #parenting #parentingadvice #biblicaltruth #moralfailure #christian #christianmotivation #family #christianfamily #advice #churchlife #faith #faithingod
