US Military Launches AutoWarCom: AI & Autonomous Warfare Take Over

Is human decision-making becoming the slowest link on the modern battlefield? In this week's briefing, host Ryan Belton breaks down a historic shift in national defense: the official announcement of AutoWarCom (Autonomous Warfare Command) and Project Agincourt, directed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Representing the fastest peacetime shift toward robotics, drone swarms, and AI-driven combat systems in U.S. military history, this new four-star command structure signals a fundamental change in how future wars will be fought.

We examine how the conflict in Ukraine has turned into a live-fire laboratory for uncrewed systems, China’s mass production of deep-seek powered drone swarms and armed robotic wolf packs, and the rapid emergence of humanoid combat platforms like Foundation Future Industries' Phantom Mk1. Plus, we revisit key insights from Ret. Lt. Col. Robert McGinnis on how compressed OODA loops are forcing militaries to rethink human judgment when combat decisions happen in milliseconds rather than hours.

We also break down the activation of FASTCOM (Futures and Autonomous Systems Command) and the Army’s new 390A Robotics Technician MOS—proving that autonomous systems have officially moved out of experimental DARPA labs and into permanent military career tracks.

Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/live/YYY4EC5Y4tc

🔗 SUPPORT THE SHOW

• Join our Patreon for bonus episodes, interview aftermaths & more:

https://patreon.com/theryanfiles

• Become a YouTube Channel Member for exclusive perks:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM4gyvsJw06PU3ED9oChbiQ/join

🌐 WEBSITE, MERCH & MORE

📱 FOLLOW THE RYAN FILES

• YouTube: https://youtube.com/@theryanfiles

• X / Twitter: https://x.com/RPfiles

• Facebook: https://facebook.com/theryanfiles

🎧 LISTEN ON PODCAST PLATFORMS

• Spotify | Apple Podcasts | iHeartRadio
