The Shadow - "Death Hunt" (Old Time Radio)

The Shadow presents “Death Hunt,” originally broadcast October 26, 1947, and identified as episode 419. In this Mutual Broadcasting System installment, sponsored by Blue Coal, Bret Morrison stars as Lamont Cranston/The Shadow alongside Grace Matthews as Margo Lane.

A debt-ridden gambler accepts a terrifying wager that turns him into prey among a block of condemned city houses. As his frightened wife seeks help, Lamont and Margo follow the trail into a dangerous world of gambling, obsession, and high-stakes sport.

The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
