Fangyuan Cao
On this episode, we speak to Fangyuan Cao, a PhD candidate who led the analysis of the Australian Parkinson’s Genetics Study’s recent findings about sex baseed difference in Parkinson's Disease. This is the first major analysis of the APGS led by QIMR Berghofer, and revealed substantial differences in how Parkinson’s manifest and progresses in men/women, which really highlights the need for more personalised approaches to prevention, diagnosis and care. The APGS study website is https://www.qimrb.edu.au/studies/apgs
