S4: Episode 6 - Our Words Under the Weight of His Name

<p>In this episode of <em>The Table</em>, we continue our time in the Sermon on the Mount by exploring Matthew 5:33–37. As Jesus calls His followers to let their "Yes" be yes and their "No" be no, we consider what His teaching reveals about the Third Commandment and what it truly means to take the Lord's name in vain. Together, we explore how bearing God's name is about far more than avoiding irreverent speech. It is a call to represent Him faithfully in both our words and our lives. Because God is a God who always keeps His promises, our words should reflect the integrity, faithfulness, and truthfulness of the One whose name we bear.</p>
