Live from Berlin: Key takeaways from the World Health Summit

This week, the Devex team is on the ground in Berlin for the World Health Summit. We explore how this year’s event stands apart from previous iterations and what makes it distinct from the World Health Assembly.

During the conversation, we explore a major theme of the event: the intersection of global health and security. With geopolitical tensions rising, we examine how organizations are struggling to deliver healthcare in active war zones such as Sudan and Ukraine. We also go through our interview with Africa CDC Director-General Jean Kaseya about the ongoing challenge of containing the Ebola crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

To dig into these conversations, Devex Associate Editor Thomas Cserép sits down with global health reporters Sara Jerving and Andrew Green for this special live recording of the This Week in Global Development podcast.
