Hour 1 (10.13) Tim’s mom nearly ran over Bob Hope at Bob Hope Airport. Now that terminal is being retired. Hollywood Burbank’s $1.3 billion new terminal is open, and Canter’s Deli says its power bill jumped $10K.

6:20 — Hollywood Burbank Airport’s new terminal opened October 13, 2026. It costs $1.3 billion; it’s more than 50% bigger, and it keeps 14 gates and walk-out-to-the-plane boarding. Tim also tells the story of the day his mom almost ran over Bob Hope at the airport named after him.

6:35 — What happens to the old terminal? The 1930 building is set to be demolished. Burbank’s mayor says it isn’t up to code, so it can’t be reused.
