147 | Among Bears: Timothy Treadwell

In 1989, Timothy Treadwell set his sights on Alaska for the first time with a deep desire to see grizzly bears. His first interaction would lead him spending over a decade with these incredible creatures in the Alaska wilderness. His time here would shed light on human-bear encountes, bear safety, and the dangers of living, without respect or protection, among the bears.

The outdoors are a beautiful that can be filled with light and bliss and many different ways to bring yourself closer to those you love and yourself. But they can also be filled with terror and death, imminent and oppressive. Join me as we dig into these stories that inspire you to be just a little bit more careful while you’re in the outdoors.
