Jack Unterweger, the Man Who Convinced the World He Had Changed

This documentary account follows the 1995 hunt for Glenn Rogers, a charming drifter who met women in bars, then killed them and fled, leaving victims in California, Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana within about six weeks. Detectives in five states, working with the FBI, linked the killings through the national crime database, motel records, a stolen car, and a media campaign that reached truckers, truck stops, and television audiences, while Rogers made little effort to hide his name or his movements. He was finally run off the road by Kentucky State Police on November 13, 1995, and went on to receive death sentences in Florida and California, with investigators still suspecting he was responsible for more unsolved murders.
