100: He Wrote Every Student a Birthday Letter Every Year Since 1984
Dan Stroup's handwritten birthday letters have followed his students from eighth grade into their fifties, and some of them have kept every one.
Dan spent 41 years at Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, most of them teaching eighth grade Bible. When CBS News sent Steve Hartman to Indianapolis in 2013, the count stood at 2,800 birthdays and the writing ran up to three hours a night. Keith Tyner and Doug Shrieve call him living proof that you can change someone's world ten minutes at a time.
