CONRAD KOCH & CHESTER MISSING | CHESTER'S GOT TALENT; CURRENT AFFAIRS; DEATH THREATS;

This week on WAW — What A Week, Conrad Koch and South Africa’s most outspoken puppet, Chester Missing, are in the hot seat!

We talk about Chester's Got Talent, Conrad's award-winning live show. It's a talent show for puppets where the audience are the judges. Chester competes against Gunter the German mosquito, Hilton the dramatic ostrich, DJ Hoodie and Mr Dixon the high school teacher, and as usual Chester refuses to do what he's told. The show won the Standard Bank Gold Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival, and it's family friendly, from 8-year-olds to 80-year-old grannies.

Then we unpack another wild week in South Africa: politics, the approaching local government elections, GBV, and headlines so ridiculous even a comedian struggles to improve them.

Plus, we get behind the puppet to find out what makes Conrad tick, what still gets Chester fired up, and what made them look back at the last seven days and say…

Satire, honesty, and the questions nobody else will ask.
