Unfortunately, we did not calculate Hurricane Katrina or anything like her. We assumed that time, that New Life Ministry would outlive us all. But like many other churches, we were totally unprepared for this sort of devastation. Yes, to our regret, New Life Ministry had crashed beyond repair. </p><p><br></p><p>The body of Christ was scattered, our homes were lost, and families were disconnected. For all practical purposes, it appeared as if New Orleans would not recover. Thank God we were wrong! God had other plans for both New Orleans and New Life Ministry. God had overruled the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. </strong></p>
