<p></p> <p>With ten Grammy wins and twenty nominations, it's safe to say that <a href="https://www.norahjones.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Norah Jones</a> has had a successful career in the music industry. The epitome of a multi-hyphenate artist, Jones has released nine solo albums, made appearances in movies like Wong Kar Wai's <em>My Blueberry Nights</em> and Seth McFarlane's <em>Ted</em>, and now hosts her own podcast, "<a href="https://www.norahjonesisplayingalong.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Norah Jones Is Playing Along.</a>" Recently, Jones added another hyphenate to the growing list—she became part-owner of the <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/region/france/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">French</a> winery <a href="https://www.thislifewines.com/about-maison-wessman/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Maison Wessman</a>, creating a line of wines she calls "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU8jYYA6xpU" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">This Life</a>."</p> <p></p> <p>Now, Jones isn't representing herself as a technical wine expert here—her focus is more based on taste, mood, and gut feeling. In that way, she views the business quite similarly to how she approaches music. There's overlap between the two art forms, and "This Life" seeks to draw a line between them: the <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/basics/a-quick-guide-to-rose-wine/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> rosé</a> and <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/culture/wine/cremant-france-affordable-sparkling-wine/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> crémant</a> are marketed as "a melody in every glass."</p> <p></p> <p>For this episode of the <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/wine-enthusiast-podcast/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Wine Enthusiast Podcast</a>, we were lucky enough to have Norah Jones stop by and chat with writer-at-large <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/contributor/matt-kettmann/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Matt Kettmann</a>, who reviews wines from <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/region/california/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">California</a> and <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/culture/travel/languedoc-tourism-guide/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Languedoc-Roussillon</a>—including <a href="https://www.wineenthusiast.com/buying-guide/maison-wessman-2024-this-life-cremant-sparkling-cremant-de-limoux/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Jones' This Life 2024 Crémant de Limoux</a> (which received a score of 91 points). The two touch on how this collaboration came to be, how Jones settled on the "This Life" name, and new projects she has on the horizon.</p> <p>Is there a guest you want us to interview?
