Ep313: Victorian Who Climbed Over Every Obstacle: Annie Smith Peck

What does a well educated, multilingual, middle-aged Victorian woman do for fun? Climb mountains, of course! Annie Smith Peck discovered mountain climbing later in life (by Victorian standards) but that didn't stop her from summiting some of the most absurd peaks in the world, all while documenting the routes, geography, and the people who lived there. Don't let anyone gatekeep geography watch out for that red sun at dawn, because we're wining about herstory!
