At 9:32 p.m. on September 3, 2026, police in Hoover, Alabama, responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive woman inside a community swimming pool. The victim was 70-year-old Terry Lynn Walker-Zuniga, a resident of the apartment complex. What initially looked like a possible drowning quickly became something much darker.
