Yours Truly Johnny Dollar - "The Mcclain Matter Part 1" (Old Time Radio)

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The McClain Matter, Part 1,” originally broadcast on CBS on February 6, 1956. Common old-time-radio program logs list it as episode 323, though some later serial indexes use 321. Bob Bailey stars as freelance insurance investigator Johnny Dollar in this five-part serial, written by John Dawson (a pseudonym of E. Jack Neuman) and directed by Jack Johnstone.

At Tri-State Insurance in Hartford, Dollar hears an extraordinary account from Mrs. McClain, whose life-insurance claim and supposed death point toward a troubling case of deception, missing answers, and possible fraud reaching back to Los Angeles.

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
