<p><strong>Scratch: When We Need to Start Over</strong></p><p><strong>No More Games with God </strong></p><p><strong>Jon Fredricks </strong></p><p><strong>Today&#39;s Scripture: </strong><a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/111/1SA.13.1-14.NIV" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer"><strong>1 Samuel 13:1-14</strong></a><strong></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>‭‭Psalms‬ ‭86‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬</strong></p><p>“Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Parable of the Lost Son</strong></p><p><a href="https://www.bible.com/bible/111/LUK.15.11-32.NIV" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer"><strong>Luke 15:11-32</strong></a></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Matthew 22:37-39</strong></p><p>37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[<a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matt%2022%3A37-39&version=NIV#fen-NIV-23910a" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">a</a>] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>An Undivided Heart: </strong></p><p><strong>1 ) Slows Down</strong></p><p><strong>Luke 10:41-42</strong></p><p><strong>41 </strong>“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, <strong>42 </strong>but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Psalm 46:10</strong></p><p>He says, “<strong>Be</strong> <strong>still</strong>, and know that I am God; I will <strong>be</strong> exalted among the nations, I will <strong>be</strong> exalted in the earth.”</p><p><br></p><p><strong>2) Takes steps back</strong></p><p><strong>Philippians 3:8</strong></p><p>What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them <strong>garbage</strong>, that I may gain Christ</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Luke 19:8</strong></p><p>But <strong>Zacchaeus</strong> stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”</p><p><br></p><p><strong>3) Knows Order is important</strong></p><p><strong>Exodus 20:3</strong></p><p>“You shall have <strong>no</strong> <strong>other</strong> <strong>god</strong>s <strong>before</strong> me.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Matthew 6:33</strong></p><p>But <strong>seek</strong> <strong>first</strong> his <strong>kingdom</strong> and his righteousness, and all <strong>the</strong>se things will be given to you as well.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>4) Waits for God</strong></p><p><strong>Psalm 27:14</strong></p><p><strong>Wait</strong> for the Lord; be strong and take heart and <strong>wait</strong> for the Lord.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Isaiah 40:31</strong></p><p>but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Acts 3:19</strong></p><p><strong>Repent</strong>, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,</p>
