The Bible Effect | Fighting Worry with the Word
One concern turns into ten. A bill becomes fear about the future. A doctor’s appointment becomes a list of worst-case scenarios. A hard conversation gets rehearsed over and over before it ever happens.
Worry feels productive because our minds are busy, but thinking about a problem again and again isn’t the same as solving it. Today Valarie prays through a new direction for worry: name it, ask God specifically for what you need, give thanks, and return to His truth when the worry comes back, because it usually does. It’s a prayer for wisdom about what you can address and peace about what you can’t control.
Scripture anchor: Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
If you’re learning to make prayer your first response instead of your last resort, the Inner Chamber was created to help you build that rhythm. Guided prayer, monthly teaching, and a community that grows together are waiting at divine515.com.
When the same worry shows up again today, don’t rehearse it. Pray it again, and come back tomorrow.
