What is pork-barrelling?

Labor's use of grants is raising eyebrows.

A Centre for Public Integrity investigation found the $560 million so called 'Major and Local Community Infrastructure' grants program was overwhelmingly directed into safe Labor seats and marginal seats the party wanted to win at the 2025 federal election.

Chair Anthony Whealy called it as he saw it: pork-barrelling.
