<p>In this episode, I turn the mic on myself...</p><p>Issy sits down with me to unpack where my drive really comes from, starting with the day everything changed.</p><p>I was 7 years old, standing at the end of a hospital bed, watching my dad on life support. That moment became the reference point for everything after it. Growing up with a single mum and real financial pressure taught me to associate safety and security with hard-won effort, and it pushed me into a kind of survival mode I didn&#39;t fully understand until much later.</p><p>We talk about how that early loss shaped my ambition, why I&#39;ve spent years chasing personal development (from Tony Robbins seminars to mentors who became like family) and the health struggles (physical and otherwise) that came from carrying stress I never really processed as a kid.</p><p>It&#39;s not the usual podcast format, and it&#39;s a bit more exposed than I&#39;m used to, but if any part of my journey helps you make sense of your own, then it&#39;s done its job.</p><p>Let me know in the comments if you want more episodes like this.
