Big Milestones, Big Bikes, and a Big Trip to Goodwood

<p>This week Alex and Tyler embark on a quick rehash of the reaction to our last <a href="https://bringatrailer.com/2026/06/18/bat-the-movies-gone-in-60-seconds-1974-and-2000/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">(B)at the Movies</a> episode; reminisce about the days when you could still wrap your mind around the Star Wars universe; discover Tyler&#39;s Corvette origin story (and possibly that of the frame-swapped C2); reveal the BaT staff habit of taking conference calls in various cars parked downstairs at HQ; fuel ethanol-based paranoia; and compare the lot numbers (<em>beat #818 - Ed.</em>) when they started at BaT to the 250,000 we&#39;ve now surpassed. That of course lends itself to a discussion of the <a href="https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-ferrari-288-gto-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ferrari 288 GTO</a>that is set to wrap up next week, one that includes Tyler casually dropping yet another surprise ride-along story.</p><p>Moving on to the bikes: the pair discuss the preponderance of cool two-wheelers in Europe and several great recent moto sales on BaT, both in the US and abroad, including a host of Vincents and a special Indian. They take a not-unexpected digression into Steve McQueen territory, pause for a Harley revelation, and finally, spend a few minutes talking about Alex&#39;s recent impromptu trip to the UK to spend some time on track at Goodwood.</p><p><strong>Follow along!
