Here’s a simple definition of God’s mercy: When he doesn’t give us what we deserve. As humans, we’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The punishment for this is death. But God shows us mercy and love by sacrificing Jesus on the cross to cover for us. We can experience God’s mercy today and every day when we choose to follow him.
