#9 Interview with Lionel Jadot - Zaventem Ateliers

<p>An important part of his work is Zaventem Ateliers, a space where professionals, designers and artists work together. This project won the prestigious Henry van de Velde Company Gold Award 2024 and is a perfect example of how you create an environment where creativity and collaboration are central.

Zaventem Ateliers currently houses 32 workshops , where makers develop their own unique designs, but also have the opportunity to collaborate on larger projects.

I was one of the few artists who could work there for 7 years, until today.

But what means Zaventem Ateliers for Lionel Jadot?</p>

<p>For me, and I think for many people in Zaventem Ateliers and everywhere around, Lionel Jadot is a great inspirator. And by that way also a mentor for young - or starting designer (like I was 7 years ago).

The world of art was a completly unknown world for me. I love art, but didn’t really know how to work in that world. But he guide us - maybe unintentionally - into that world. </p>
