Is Higher Development Always Better?

We tend to think that higher ego development simply means being happier.

Our logic is that greater self-awareness, motivations and flexibility, a more complex worldview, and a closer relationship to truth must mean that we are happier!

Therefore, higher is better.

Not so fast...
