Arriving in Australia as a child after fleeing civil war in Sudan, Moses Riek was a highly talented basketball prospect with the world at his feet. 

Fast forward to only months after he finished school and he found himself behind bars. However, prison became the turning point that changed his life. 

Today, Moses mentors young people involved in the justice system, works alongside Victorian Government agencies, speaks publicly about crime prevention and rehabilitation and is dedicated to showing young people there is another path.
