Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”</p><p>Matthew 28:18–19 (KJV)</p><p><br></p><p>It was his authority to do with what he needed to do.</p><p><br></p><p>Jesus possesses all authority and commissions His followers to do and operate in His name.</p><p>He turned around and gave you and I the power. </p><p><br></p><p>“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”</p><p>Luke 10:19</p><p><br></p><p>Jesus explicitly gives authority over the works of the enemy.</p><p><br></p><p>Authority as Children of God</p><p><br></p><p>“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God…”</p><p>John 1:12</p><p><br></p><p>It takes authority to become a son of God.
