7-18-2026- What We Don 't Say Loud, Unfamilarizing the Past Culture
What We Don’t Say Out Loud is a culturally rooted conversation about the unspoken experiences shaping our mental and emotional wellness—from family secrets and generational survival to relationships, parenting, grief, money, masculinity, Black womanhood, faith, friendship, aging, success, and the pressure to always appear strong.
This isn’t just a podcast about mental health. It’s about the culture behind our mental health.
Why did some of us learn to call trauma “just life”? Why was survival celebrated while vulnerability was questioned? What behaviors have we normalized simply because “that’s how we grew up”? And what are we carrying today that was never ours to carry?
Each episode takes something we usually whisper about and puts it directly on the table.
Because some things don’t change until somebody finally says them out loud.
