Nassau County Bar Association Assigned Counsel Defender Plan

Ken Landau talks with Lindsay Boorman Esquire, the administrator of the Nassau County Bar Association Assigned Counsel Defender Plan, who explains when a defendant in a minor or serious crime is eligible for and provided with free defense counsel. She also explains do's and don'ts for someone who is arrested, and how to take advantage of your right to a free attorney if you meet the economic guidelines in Nassau County or elsewhere. Information is also provided to attorneys on how they can qualify for and join the assigned Council Defender plan panels.
