Raygun's Redemption, Alix v Alex & WTF is Musk?

Hey Lifers! Happy Wednesday! We’re fresh back from New Zealand (Queenstown luge races, ice-cold lake plunges and all) while Britt’s got her own laundry-based betrayal to deal with courtesy of Ben. We take a quick pause to give a shoutout to a very special dad in the Lifer family (Matt we’re looking at you), before answering Soph’s very real dilemma: How do you greet your friend’s partner for the first time without it turning into an awkward fist bump? Laura’s going rouge and talking Musk Sticks…Yep… Who actually knows what the flavour of Musk? This one will have you both concerned and intrigued.

Then we get into it. First up, the Alex Cooper vs Alex Earle drama that's been simmering since 2022 finally got its reveal, and we unpack the uncomfortable footage, the question of who really owns your story once you've sat down for an interview, and why we'll never ask a guest to keep something in if they've asked for it to be cut.

Then, the big one: Raygun. Her new Netflix documentary has reopened the conversation a year on, and we've got a lot of feelings. We get into vicarious embarrassment (yes, it's a real psychological phenomenon), the line between self-belief and delusion, the role her husband/coach played in it all, and whether the backlash really was about gender or something else entirely.
