Exodus 13: Remembering Egypt

In this episode, God slows Israel down long enough to teach them how to remember. He claims the firstborn as His own and establishes the Feast of Unleavened Bread so they never forget who brought them out and why. As the people step into freedom, God doesn’t rush them through the quickest route - He leads them the right way, the safe way, with a cloud by day and fire by night.This chapter is about learning to walk with God after deliverance - honoring Him with what’s first, remembering what He’s done, and trusting the path He chooses even when it doesn’t make sense.
