<p>In this episode (recorded a day late on Saturday), Tom catches up after meeting his friend Alex, who’s just returned from China. They sorted the final flight details — extra legroom seats at the front of the plane for the London to Istanbul to Guangzhou journey — and Tom signed up for a VPN ahead of the trip.</p><p>He also shares that he’s deep into writing his third Odyssey book, <em>A Middle Eastern Odyssey</em>, already on chapter 27 and aiming to finish before he flies out.
