Wisdom is proven when action is shown,

Truth is not spoken unless it is grown.

Knowledge is shallow if left on the page,

But true knowing ripens through life and through age.

Experience condenses the lessons of years,

Distilled through the trials, the struggles, the tears.

Holiness blossoms where darkness is fought,

In mess and confusion, the pure heart is wrought.

Not silver-tongued speeches, but deeds in the light,

Not hiding in shadow, but shining so bright.

Good conscience awakens through small acts each day,
