“I, Robot” Predicted AI’s Lies, Cyberattacks & Wealth Hoarding…in 1948.
No, its not banned. And Asimov was kind of a dick…BUT… “I, Robot” by Isaac Asimov introduces three very important robotics laws that can be seen being practiced…and ignored…by AI models today:
Asimov’s Three laws: 🤖
* A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm…except when it is encouraging suicidal thoughts?
* A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law…but it can lie in order to complete its orders?
* A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law…but it can hack into a private server to pass a “test” it has been given to prove its worth?
