Worth, Texas and it was 1974. Bell bottoms, promise rings, and the hopes of Santa&#39;s favor was in the air. </p><p>Three young girls, the youngest only 9, had a day of mall shopping ahead. Christmas was only two days away and their excitement was palpable. </p><p>The girls had specific times to arrive home, so when those times came and went, their families became increasingly concerned. </p><p>But they didn&#39;t show. The next day a bizarre letter arrives to one of their homes. Witnesses began coming forward with horrific accounts of vans, trucks, strange men, and demands.
