Miracle Workers

Matthew bookends his miracle chapters with the same sentence in 4:23 and 9:35, so the section lands on the reader rather than only on Jesus. Every verb in that verse is a commission: go, teach, proclaim, heal, have compassion. Being unqualified or new exempts no one. The closing instruction is to pray for workers, and the ones who prayed got sent.
