North Carolina bill could make repeat nonsexual nudity a felony

A North Carolina bill would make repeat indecent exposure a felony and require sex-offender registration, dramatically increasing the consequences of a law that does not require prosecutors to prove sexual intent. The proposal does not create a new prohibition on nonsexual nudity, but for naturists it raises the stakes of an existing statute whose reach is already unusually broad.
