Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has brushed off questions about tensions between China and Taiwan at the Pacific Islands Forum, saying he's focused on "outcomes and unity".

Back home, Labor has unveiled a raft of proposed changes to privacy laws, but ruled out an import ban on smart glasses.
