Why Knowing Your Revenue Is Not Enough
Julianna explains why many founders feel cash is always tight even when revenue is strong and why a bank balance alone does not show the full picture. She clarifies the difference between revenue (what you earn), profit (what is left after expenses) and cash position (what is actually available after accounting for GST, tax, super, committed bills and timing of payments). She outlines a simple way to calculate cash position and create a 30-day view of money coming in and going out, noting that accurate, up-to-date books are essential. She also shares a free Cash Flow Confidence Calculator and invites listeners to a live 90-minute online workshop, Finish Strong, on Tuesday 23 June at 12:00 PM Sydney time, limited to 20 people for $49, with a VIP group planning session in July for those who register before Sunday 21 June.
