Transforming Anxiety into Trust Tonight
Tonight, if your mind is racing and your heart feels heavy, remember this: you don't have to carry tomorrow tonight.God is already there.
Anxiety often begins when we try to solve problems that haven't happened yet. We imagine what could go wrong, replay conversations, and search for answers we simply don't have. But God invites us to exchange our anxiety for something much stronger—trust.
Proverbs 3:5–6 says, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
You may not understand what God is doing right now. You may not see how everything will work out. But trust doesn't require having all the answers. Trust says, "God, I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know You'll be there."
Before you go to sleep tonight, give God what has been troubling you. Name your worries one by one and place them in His hands.
Your job tonight isn't to figure everything out.
Your job is to rest.
God is awake, God is working, and God is with you.
Tonight, trade your anxiety for trust—and let His peace carry you into sleep.
