Chef Jason Santos is the chef/owner of the Buttermilk & Bourbon Group, a family of New Orleans–inspired Southern restaurants in Massachusetts including Buttermilk & Bourbon, Citrus & Salt, and related concepts. A Massachusetts native and Newbury College culinary grad, he rose through Boston kitchens before gaining national attention as the fan-favorite runner-up on Season 7 of Hell's Kitchen, which led to recurring roles on Hell's Kitchen, Bar Rescue, Today, and The Talk. Today he splits his time between running his restaurant group, appearing on television, and authoring cookbooks such as Buttermilk & Bourbon and Simple Fancy.
