Who Were the Nephilim?

<p>We&#39;re continuing our summer road trip through the Faculty Podcast archives, and have encountered one of our favorite episodes. This week, we&#39;re asking, &quot;who were the Nephilim?&quot; Genesis 6 tells us that these creatures are somehow associated with the &quot;sons of God&quot; marrying the &quot;daughters of men.&quot; Is this a reference to angelic beings? Or is there a more ordinary explanation for what&#39;s going on?
